SEAT Supercopa:
Launched
in 2003 to help nurture British Touring Car talent the SEAT Cupra Championship was originally intended to run for three years.
It has proved a huge success with SEAT themselves, sponsors, drivers and spectators alike. By the end of 2006, at the end
of SEAT’s original timeline for involvement, the championship was continuing to grow with television figures and spectator
attendance improving all the time, SEAT opted to renew its support and has committed to the series until at least 2009. The
launch of the all new SEAT Leon in 2006
provided the platform for a revamped championship in 2007. The 2009 series is supported by SEAT Uk, SEAT Sport Spain and Dunlop
Tyres. SEAT UK will provide a SEAT Leon road car to the overall victor with new SEAT road cars also available to 2nd and 3rd
placed competitors. The series is shown on ITV's Men and Motors channel with highlights screened on MOTORS TV and Channel
FIVE. Upgraded to Eurocup specification for the 2009 the SEAT Supercopa cars are now amongst the fastest saloon cars racing
in the UK with over 300bhp and 6 speed paddleshift gearboxes. Be sure to catch this exciting series at your local circuit.

BritCar:
Britcar is an Endurance Motor Racing series formed in 1997 as a result of a discussion
in a Nurburgring bar between Willie Moore and James Tucker.
Competing
cars vary from the Renault Clio RS through BMW M3s, Porsche GT3s, a stalwart of the series: the Marcos Mantis GT, and exotics
such as the Mosler.
2002
was the successful first year of competition and following tremendous growth in 2003, it attracted Sky Sports coverage in
their Motor Sports section in 2004. 2005 featured the first Britcar 24-Hour Race, and was followed by packed grids in 2006
season culminating in a capacity field for the 24-Hours.
2007
was the EERC's first year as a Motor Sports Association (MSA) approved Championship and, as well the now essential 24 hours,
it also plays a supporting role to the British round of the A1 Grand Prix. The presenters of the well known British car show
Top Gear took part in this years events, coming third of the diesel cars, and 39th overall in a BMW E46.
